RE: Disclaimer issue.

2011-01-13 Thread Paul Cookman
What do you mean when you say off-box?

I have CAS+HUB and Mailbox+Hub and the Disclaimer software is on the
Mailbox+Hub, jet my emails are leaving the Mailbox+Hub (where the mailboxes are
and going to the CAS+HUB and back again causing the Disclaimer Software not to
trigger.

Regards,

Paul.

Shadow redundancy.

The off-box HT is preferred so that you can have actual redundancy. If the
on-box HT was used and you had a crash, you could potentially lose an
in-transit email.

Subject: Disclaimer issue.

I have a frontend CAS and Backend Mailbox Server Exchange 2010 both as Hub
Transport Servers for redundancy.

I have Mail Disclaimer software setup on the backend mailbox server thinking
the emails will use the local Hub transport where the Disclaimer software is.

It appears that the mail is being routed to the CAS Hub for routing and not the
mailbox Hub causing the Disclaimer software not to append. Any ideas why this
is not routing locally?

Regards,

Paul.

Uh...I'm not sure you can. It's working as intended. Disable the off-box HT,
maybe?

I've got to ask - why are you using third-party disclaimer software, instead of
the built-in Exchange capabilities? Using those would solve this issue...
