Fjords For Sale:
Elliot, age 4, born 5/13/2003.
14.2 hh, brown dun (no white.) Microchip OA00627772.
We started driving Elliot as a 2 year old. He has been used for our
carriage service. He has been to parades, weddings, other social event
rides, and wagon train rides.
We drive Elliot single, and he has been ridden a lot this summer. We
have used Elliot and Enga together this year.
This year (2007) spent time on an Amish friend’s farm. There he was
used to help with spring planting and field work. Chris said with the
farm work he never let up and put his heart right into his work.
Because Elliot is an eager, hardworking horse, I feel he needs a more
advanced handler.
We call Elliot's training as being farm broke. He has had no
professional training.
Elliot is very good to trim, groom, harness or saddle, and have foot
work or teeth work done. He loads very well. He has a 1 year older full
brother in the area. The brother is a little taller.
Enga, age 4, born 5/11/2003.
14.3 hh, brown dun (no white). Microchip OA00643466.
We started driving Enga as a 2 year old. She has been used for our
carriage service. She has been in parades, weddings, other social event
rides, and wagon train rides.
This year (2007) she spent time on an Amish friend’s farm. There she
was used to help with spring planting and field work. She also drives
single and has been ridden a lot this summer. We have been driving Enga
and Elliot together this summer.
Like Elliot, she is farm broke and has had no professional training.
Enga is a more laid back type of horse. I feel she can easily be handled
by less-advanced handlers.
She is very good about being trimmed, groomed, harnessed, saddled, and
having her teeth worked on. She loads very easily too. She likes
attention. We feel Enga has some nice markings.
Elliot and Enga can be seen at any time in the afternoon on the Orth's
farm near Marshall, Minnesota.
