Mark and Lisa,

I just started my 3 year old Fjord this past spring and was also concerned
about a correct fittin saddle for him. I found a great saddle that is made
with the horse in mind first, not vice versa. In fact, I like them so much I
bought 2, one for my daughter and one for my husband/me.

They are called the "Black Rhino" saddle by "About the Horse Saddlemakers",
out of (I think) Spring Grove, MN. My trainer reps them so I never really
went down to his place. His number is #1-800-449-7409 -- just ask for Dave.
My trainer's a real stickler for saddle fit and she and I both agree it fits
Major great. I bought the barrel racing style because I like the high cantle
for trail riding but he's got a trail version, etc. Hope this helps! Susan

I can recommend the Ortho-Flex All-Around Western saddle. I have never sat
a better saddlePeriod.

You can browse them at http://www.Ortho-Flex.com.

I believe that the EquiFlex might be a Wintec and can be seen at:
http://www.horsemall.com/Millers/wintec.html and others.

Hi everyone,

I am looking for a new saddle for my wife and I was wondering if anyone
has the Equiflex web site address. Are there any other western saddles
out there that are recommended for fjords? It would be nice to find a
dealer that I can see the saddle before purchase if anyone knows of
anyplace in the upper midwest. (Dream on)

Thanks in advance,
