[Flexradio] need some info
Hello , I hope I am sending this to the right place . I am looking for some info on the flex 6700 . I want to know if the same sort of software will be needed to use the 6700 with a amp , digital and so on . right now I am having trouble learning DDutil , Vspmgr and virtual audio cables I was hoping that with the new radio we might not need such software . Is there any hope of making the operation any easier for less technical people ? If so I am in ! Thanks for your help . [Flexradio] U/V sub-audible tone problem
The newest version here seems to have the same problem with PL tones not being filtered out on receive. Did I miss a setting somewhere or is this a bug? They are annoying on receive. John, the new radio will have hardware connections for serial ports and line in/out. This is definitely helpful. Nonetheless, depending on your desired setup there may still be a need for some sort of bridging or port-sharing software so that it can talk to more than one application over the same serial port. The Flex website has technical specs, and you can get more info from the Flexedge reflector, both by posting queries and from the reflector archives. Re: [Flexradio] U/V sub-audible tone problem
John I've never noticed the issue here, I do a lot of SAT work with SO-50 which uses 67Hz. I'll try listening to some of the repeaters. Other than RX equalization (which am not sure functions with FM) I know of no settings.
