Re: [Flexradio] N8BV vCOM Driver with Vista problem
The problem I had before was that it would appear to run ok, then after some undefined time it would lock up PowerSDR, you could stop and restart PSDR and all would be ok until the next time. This was more than annoying in a contest. comOcom was not available then so I went with the commercial version from Eltima, it was little pricey but worth it, I haven't had any issues since. Re: [Flexradio] N8BV vCOM Driver with Vista problem
Dave, et.al., N8BV vCOM does work in Vista. However, the configurator does NOT work properly. vCOM will work fine under Vista as long as you use the serial port pairs it sets up by default. You can use the configurator to enable/disable pairs of serial ports, but you cannot change the port numbers. 73, Ray, K9DUR ___ FlexRadio Systems Mailing List FlexRadio@flex-radio.biz http://mail.flex-radio.biz/mailman/listinfo/flexradio_flex-radio.biz Archives: http://www.mail-archive.com/flexradio%40flex-radio.biz/ Knowledge Base: http://kb.flex-radio.com/ Homepage: http://www.flex-radio.com/
Re: [Flexradio] N8BV vCOM Driver with Vista problem
FYI...I've been using Com0Com with no problems at all, though the port setup is kinda weird. But this has been on an XP SP2 machine.
