A belated follow-up... All the wikis are ACL protected now. I had
misunderstood how the ACL works. It does not prevent creation of an
account (as I had assumed), but prevents editing and creating pages if
the user's wiki name is not in the groups that are allowed to do that
(administrators and contributors). This means that if you already have
an account and want to keep write privileges your wiki name needs to be
added to one of the groups. Unfortunately I have been unable to figure
out how to get the list of registered users, so if you want your name in
the ACL lists please send me (you can send directly to me instead of
replying to the list) your wiki name. Or if anyone knows how to get the
list of users that would help too.

FYI, I don't think this was done right because I just created a test
account with no problem and we still got spam today. I asked INFRA to
double check...

INFRA finally got around to do this, after a bit of nagging.
I assume that existing users will not be affected by this ACL.
Changes to the ACL admin group can be done by the users listed here:
https://wiki.apache.org/xmlgraphics/AdminGroup (INFRA requested two
wiki names). Should I add everyone that is listed in
http://xmlgraphics.apache.org/fop/team.html to the group?

configured to limit access as described
here:http://wiki.apache.org/general/OurWikiFarm#per_wiki_access_control_-_tighten_your_wiki_just_a_little.2C_benefit_just_a_lot
> There are two wikis:

> I think the xmlgraphics-batik wiki may already be configured this way.
