If you're looking for a fxp hacker, mux is the one you want
([EMAIL PROTECTED]). He's also on irc.freenode.net with the same nickname.

Good! Too bad that I only use fxp cards, so I'm pretty bummed right now.

ALTQ for FreeBSD 5.1?

2003-06-12 Thread Erik Paulsen Skaalerud
Is anyone working on ALTQ intergration for FreeBSD 5.1?
Looks like the FreeBSD-ALTQ went drop dead, as they havent made anything new
since the release of FreeBSD
5.0.(http://www.rofug.ro/projects/freebsd-altq/)

FreeBSD 5.1-RELEASE (cvs) problems..

2003-06-07 Thread Erik Paulsen Skaalerud
Hello there. Just installed FreeBSD 5.1-BETA from a ISO, then upgrade to
5.1-RELEASE via CVS (RELENG_5_1).

Looks like there are alot of problems with ACPI and the floppy disk
controller on this mainboard. It's a Abit BP6 Dual-CPU mainboard with two
Celeron 400MHz CPU's running on it.

I have a USB wireless mouse/keyboard package from logitech, where the
keyboard works fine after the usbd is up, but the mouse seems dead (I can
only get a PS/2 mouse to work).
-su-2.05b# ps auxw | grep moused
root376 0.0 0.1 1188 600 ?? Is7:22PM 0:00.00
/usr/sbin/moused -p /dev/ums0 -I /var/run/moused.ums0.pid
root445 0.0 0.1 1188 600 ?? Is7:22PM 0:00.00
/usr/sbin/moused -p /dev/psm0 -t auto

Attached is the complete dmesg buffer from startup, pciconf -lv and
acpidump. Any ideas are greatly appriciated.

Greetings, Erik.

Will this lead to an extension of the release schedule for 5.1 until most of
the problems are fixed?
To me it looks like there are more and more reports about panics every day
:(

Eh..

2003-06-02 Thread Erik Paulsen Skaalerud
Can someone find out who's trying to add the freebsd mailinglist to other
mailinglists? This is getting annoying.

Erik.
