Follow-up Comment #2, bug #14715 (project freeciv):

Don't think I've ran autogen.sh, but rather used libtoolize (to update
config.gues -.log, and the autotools.

Follow-up Comment #1:

configure is a generated file - it's not even under version control. Patching
it makes no sense as changes would be lost when it's next time generated.
Attached patch makes required changes to configure.ac from which configure is
generated.
Can you test if this works for you? Run ./autogen.sh first to regenerate
configure.

Details:

We don't have multiuser enviroment in Haiku yet so I need to add haiku and
#define ALWAYS_ROOT 1 together with -lnetwork in the configure script to be
able to run the sdl-client.
On that note ... I had to disable CFLAGS -O0 instead of -O2 for the
sdl-client (otherwise I had ploblems with asm (simular to this problem
http://lists.mplayerhq.hu/pipermail/ffmpeg-cvslog/2007-July/008474.html
(impossible to register asm)).

Added a small patch to be able to compile and run in Haiku.
