Hi Alan,

It has been working well for me.  I just tested it with the latest CVS 
revision and it compiled and worked properly there as well, so I've 
commited it.

  If this works for you, can you commit it to CVS, along with the

  Put it on a web page somewhere.  If enough people poke at it over
the next week or so, we should get something which works.

  I don't use SQL, so if a few people say a patch works for them, I'll
drop it in as-is.
