[Freevo-users] Joystick/game crash
When playing a game (mame, snes, nes, sms) with a USB->PS2 joystick, I can crash it everytime by hitting the button 4 while the game is playing. I get this error: -- DirectFB v0.9.20 - (c) 2000-2002 convergence integrated media GmbH (c) 2002-2003 convergence GmbH --- (*) Multi Application Core. [Freevo-users] ATI Remote Wonder USB experiences...
Hello there, does anyone have experience using the ATI Remote Wonder USB or compatibles for freevo? I wonder how the latency / key repetition feels using lirc / ati_remote is. Which one is better? And do both methods work using DirectFB as well? I am afraid that DirectFB uses direct access to the ps/2-keyboard-port, right? So does the HID-module for the keyboard mode of the remote work at all using freevo with DirectFB? Thanks a lot in advance, Markus Schneider P.S.: Currently, you can get ATI Remote USB (compatible) remotes quite cheap at eBay Germany for EUR 19,99: http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=4131792571&fromMakeTrack=true Does anybody know if these devices are Remote Wonder I or Remote Wonder II compatible? Currently, only the first version seems to be working well in Linux... --- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IntelliVIEW -- Interactive Reporting Tool for open source databases. If not, when do you think it will be updated? Thanks for your response. --- This SF.Net email is sponsored by: IntelliVIEW -- Interactive Reporting Tool for open source databases.
