[Freevo-users] Display not refreshed after quitting plugin vdr_xine

2008-04-15 Thread jean . palazuelos
Hello,

I have freshly and succesfully installed new release of freevo (V1.8) with
vdr_xine (V0.2) plugins. THX to all the team for the job :D

But I have a little unpleasant bug : when I quit VDR and comming back to Freevo
the screen is black and not refresh.

I have to pull the remote to partially see the menu but the left quarter of the
screen still black

Is this a Freevo or vdr_xine bug? How can this could be fixed?

THX

Jean

[Freevo-users] F-keys and mplayer

2008-04-15 Thread Chris
Hi,
I was configuring freevo to fit some mediacenter-pc i bought. It came
with a remote controle which sends keycodes.

Unfortunately some of the keys are mapped to f1-f12, which is no problem
in freevo itself, but when mplayer is running all keypresses on these
keys are ignored. Is there any way to change this?

Other keys are e.g. the arrow-keys on the numblock, for which
pygame.locals doesnt have support. Any chance getting this to run wthout
hacking pygame?

Thank you in advance
-Chris-

[Freevo-users] New Hauppauge HD PVR

2008-04-15 Thread Phil Raymond
Just wanted to get some feedback from the Freevo Community on this new device
for recording HD content. It does not have a tuner, it is only a capture device
that streams what it encodes to your computer via usb. It can only work with a
cable or a satellite box, feeding it via component cables. I have read that
there will be Linux drivers for this shortly after it goes on sale, but from
where, I have no idea. Does anyone have any info. on where the drivers might be
coming from? Here's a link to this product's page on the Hauppauge site
