I noticed that thumbs works for the movie without a fxd associated for the avi file with a fxd like this the thumb isn't shown. Is there a way to show the "normal" thumb if the isn't specified? ep1.avi Regards, Laurento - This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges. [Freevo-users] a .fxd that doesn't work anymore after upgrade to 1.7.5
I have a folder with some avi files so I wrote a fxd file for them. It worked with 1.7.4 but after upgrade to the latest 1.7.5 freevo asks me if I want to delete info (I think it means .fxd file) about the selected movie. episode_1.avi ... I think it should be a problem with the .fxd file, shouldn't it? Regards, Laurento - This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges. I created thumbs with: freevo cache --thumbnail --recursive /path/to/videofiles no errors were reported but freevo doesn't show any image. I also tried adding into an exiting fxd file but any image is shown. I noticed this behaviour with all themes. Any idea? [Freevo-users] Is it a bug in rssserver? (freevo-1.7.4)
I'm trying to use rssserver. Re: [Freevo-users] adding imdb info cause film to disapper from the list
Ok... my bad. I have simply selected a wrong imdb entry so the film's name was wrong I didn't see it. :) All seems to work well, sorry. Laurento - This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. Re: [Freevo-users] adding imdb info cause film to disapper from the list
I think I found something useful... error opening file /home/freevo/.freevo/vfs/.../file.fxd no imagefile found I haven't touched the fdx created by the imdb plugin. What's the "imagefile"?? There isn't any tag in the file or any other image link. Laurento - This SF.net email is sponsored by: Splunk Inc. Still grepping through log files to find problems? Stop. [Freevo-users] adding imdb info cause film to disapper from the list
If I add info to a film file using the freevo interface, the file disappears from the list. I noticed that a .fxd file is added into the local "overlay" (.freevo/vfs/...) but any thumb is shown and I tried to change theme (mediaportal, info...) but without success. I forgot to say that I tryed xorg as well but using xv as video device a green bar (its width is about 1/4 of the screen width and its height is about 10px) with strange pink square moving on it appears in the bottom of the screen. If I resolve this "greenbar" problem I can use xorg :) My video card is a DiamondMM based on Savage4 chipset (8MB) Cheers, Laurento - Take Surveys. Earn Cash. [Freevo-users] What's the "best way" to use freevo with the framebuffer?
Hi all, I'm trying to setup a mediabox (gentoo based) with freevo and I'd like to use the framebuffer instead of X. My question is: What's the best approach to start freevo using the framebuffer? Actually I made some tests using fbcon, svgalib and libggi, but I haven't found the optimal way yet. Using SDL_VIDEODRIVER={fbcon,svgalib,ggi} . fbcon works but mplayer osd "blinks" . ggi doens't work . svgalib works but freevo starts mplayer using -vo fbdev (same fbcon probs) Any suggestions/ideas?
