Re: iTunes and burning Q

2002-07-29 Thread James

IN OS X no there is nothing other than itoons that is
free there are other commercial MP3 Players that can
but cost money. You can use the Toast audio extractor
to extract the tracks to you hard drive and write
them. Disk burner is so limited that is why i do not
use it. If u do alot of CD Writing or coping Toast is
the best way to go. I write everything in toast do not
use disk burner since i find it too slow and itoons
too choppy in writing CD and it does not sound as
nice. I wrote mp3 CD via itoons and it was not as good
sound quility as toast and itoons version had problems
reading on my home DVD MP3 CD player, Toast version
did not. Toast i have or feel i have control over
makin a CD. Up to you but if you want professional
sounding CDs itoons is not the choice i would rather
SoundJam MP in OS 9.2.2 to write CD than itoons
Maybe newer updates will come to par with the quaility
of SoundJam MP who knows Itoons 3 is better but not
perfect

iTunes and burning Q

2002-07-29 Thread Justin Petersen

I just received my firewire burner along with my firewire pcmcia card for my
Wallstreet. By the way it works great. Anyways, my question deals with
copying from disc to disc is there anyway without buying Toast that I can
burn from disc to disc without importing songs into iTunes?

Thanks,
Justin
