Re: [gentoo-user] Oracle DB question
Maybe this http://csee.wvu.edu/~ccole/oracle10g-ubuntu.html but you have to adapt it for Gentoo (just a few differences I think). Re: [gentoo-user] One host, two NIC's...
Hi Jeff, I think you should try to adjust your /etc/hosts and put in it :192.168.0.39 192.168.1.139 fooYou may also need to adjust your routes : [EMAIL PROTECTED] add default gw 192.168.0.X 192.168.0.39[EMAIL PROTECTED] add default gw 192.168.1.X 192.168.1.139 On 2/5/06, Jeff <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: Hey all. Re: [gentoo-user] Re: ipw2200 dmesg error
I've had the same a few ago but I've followed the recommandation of disabled the hwcrypto and now it's ok !to disable hwcrypto follow this link : http://gentoo-wiki.com/HARDWARE_ipw2200#Trouble_with_WPA_and_hwcrypto On 1/15/06, Sven Köhler <[EMAIL PROTECTED] > wrote:> ipw2200: Firmware error detected. I have the same errors. I use ipw2200-1.0.10 with kernel 2.6.15.The connections breaks, the card is resseting and then the card worksagain. Then connection breaks again, the cards resets again - and so on ... So there is no continuous connection :-(That's not what i call "working".-- Dans la vie il n'y a que 10 sortes de personnesCelles qui comprennent le binaire et les autres.Martin Nicolas Master 2 I2A

Re: [gentoo-user] Programs executed as root cannot connect to X server
Are you using su for beeing root ? In that case have a look at sux (which permit to give access to x for root in sudo mode). On 5/9/05, Sami Samhuri < [EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote:* On Sun May-08-2005 at 09:14:15 PM -0500, Hareesh Nagarajan said: > Hi All:>> How do I enable programs which are executed by the root to connect to> the X server?I think you might be looking for this command (normal user):% xhost +localhost For more info read 'man xhost'.--Sami Samhuri-- Nicolas
