Dear Colleagues
Please see these details for an Assistant Professor position at the London
School of Economics and Political Science.
http://www.lse.ac.uk/LSEJobs/AcademicCareers/Job-adverts.aspx
(details are at the end of this page)
or LONG URL:
https://atsv7.wcn.co.uk/search_engine/jobs.cgi?SID=amNvZGU9MTQ3OTExNiZ2dF90ZW1wbGF0ZT0xNDI3Jm93bmVyPTUwNDA3MzUmb3duZXJ0eXBlPWZhaXImYnJhbmRfaWQ9MCYmcmVxc2lnPTE0MzkyMTY1MzEtZjU0ZTkxNDUyYTYyYTc2NjI5YjhlYjJkNThlYzhiNWM4NWU1MjZlYg==
Please note:
—the position is at the Department of International Development, and will
involve research and teaching (at MSc level) in environment and development,
hopefully with a focus on integrating international development and climate
change policies.
—we shall consider applicants with any background, and whose specialism is in
either qualitative and/or quantitative research. The intention of this
appointment, however, is to build strengths outside of the LSE’s existing work
in quantified economics, and so we especially welcome applications from
researchers in other disciplines (such as politics, sociology, anthropology,
geography, social policy, development studies, etc).
—all aspects of climate and development can be considered: technology,
governance, forested and farmed landscapes, livelihoods, mitigation planning,
adaptation, vulnerability/ resilience, investment, etc
—closing date is October 15, 2015 (UK time)
I can answer some general questions about this position if necessary, although
the main information is in the job description and person specification on the
link above.
Best wishes
Tim Forsyth
