String additions to 'gnome-shell.master'
This is an automatic notification from status generation scripts on: http://l10n.gnome.org. There have been following string additions to module 'gnome-shell.master': + "Sets the GStreamer pipeline used to encode recordings. It follows the syntax used for gst-launch. The pipeline should have an unconnected sink pad where the recorded video is recorded. It will normally have a unconnected source pad; output from that pad will be written into the output file. However the pipeline can also take care of its own output - this might be used to send the output to an icecast server via shout2send or similar. When unset or set to an empty value, the default pipeline will be used. This is currently 'vp8enc min_quantizer=13 max_quantizer=13 cpu-used=5 deadline=100 threads=%T ! queue ! webmmux' and records to WEBM using the VP8 codec. %T is used as a placeholder for a guess at the optimal thread count on the system." Note that this doesn't directly indicate a string freeze break, but it might be worth investigating. http://git.gnome.org/browse/gnome-shell/log/?h=master ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n

The only time you have to use " or ' in XML is inside attribute values that are quoted with the respective character. I just checked, and these strings are in elements, so the entity isn't needed. It's not wrong to use it. It's not wrong not to use it. I personally think intltool should substitute entities before handing strings to translators. That's how itstool works. > So what do we do? > * Hope someone somewhere implements an XML-format flag in gettext? I asked about this on the gettext mailing list: http://lists.gnu.org/archive/html/bug-gettext/2012-04/msg00013.html I got no response. -- Shaun ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n
String change in bug 684122
A string was changed, but all the existing translations were corrected. Pretty incredible that nobody noticed this before. https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=684122#c3 Can somebody extend damned-lies to look for typos? Re: New team for Marathi (mr)
Hi Sandeep, My bad! I guess i got the bad impression because of the outdated team page. We should have a mailing list and a valid team page. Also, we can have IRC id so that new person who want to join the team can get prompt help. Anyways, i am eager to work with you guys. 3.6 Release Notes: Please start translating tomorrow!
Hi, tonight the release notes will get finalized (the strings at least, I cannot promise for the screenshots yet). Please translate them from tomorrow morning (in Europe, means: UTC+0200) on! (And please bear with us in case we change two or three more strings after the string freeze has started.) The 3.6.0 release will be in nine days (Wednesday). If you add a new language please also make sure that it is listed under HELP_LINGUAS at the bottom of help/Makefile.am! Your changes can be seen here after waiting for a few minutes: http://library.gnome.org/misc/release-notes/3.6/ If you want to read the release notes in your language xy, use the switcher at the bottom of the page, or go directly to http://library.gnome.org/misc/release-notes/3.6/index.html.xy Thanks & happy translating!, andre -- mailto:ak...@gmx.net | failed http://blogs.gnome.org/aklapper ___ gnome-i18n mailing list gnome-i18n@gnome.org https://mail.gnome.org/mailman/listinfo/gnome-i18n
