Hi there.

Some time ago I've received the no go answer below for translating

translate, will it be published) ?

Hi Rafael

You are right, those news are obsolete too, so there is no point in

translating them.

Gabor, thanks for the reply. Considering this current status, I
suppose

the dynamic content of the website should NOT be translated as well.
Is

 that correct?

  Hi there.

Brazilian Portuguese translation for the static website, part
of

'gnome-web-www' [1], is 100% done. However it was not
published. Can

this translation be pushed to the website or am I missing
something?

 It cannot currently.

We talked about this problem with the web team during GUADEC, and
they

know of it, just didn't had time/incentive to solve it.

In theory, there is a few things to be done for the export/import

process to work (currently neither does, the file you translated
is

obsolete), and they promised to take a look at it.

 Gabor Kelemen

Hi,

the migration went just fine and we just had a very little downtime
(maybe less than 1-2 minutes while switching the IPs from the old
machines to the new ones), please let the Sysadmin Team [1] know if any
breakage pops up in the upcoming hours especially on
[1]l10n.gnome.org's side. (i.e missing dependencies, wrong permissions
etc.)

I would like to send a special thank you to LaMont Jones, the Canonical
Sysadmin that helped the GNOME Sysadmin Team finding and racking the
new machines in place, his passion and valuable work have made this
possible. I would also like to thank Canonical for kindly sponsoring
some of the servers that make hosting the GNOME Project possible.

Have an awesome day,

Hi,

we're in the middle of recycling two very old machines and migrate all
the services running there to the new machines kindly provided by
Canonical.

The following services will be affected:

1. [5]ns-slave.gnome.org
2. [6]www.gnome.org
3. [7]www.guadec.org
4. [8]l10n.gnome.org

I unfortunately don't have a valid date / time for the outage as of
now, I'll make sure to update the thread as usual, keep an eye at [1]
for an updated overview of how the maintenance is moving forward during
the upcoming 24-48 hours.

Thanks for your patience,
