Personally, I hate paper... and thus post-it-notes... and even more so
digital translations of post-it-notes.

Indeed; If it's there, SX can make use of... but the reminders I'm planning
will not expect this [I'm thinking seperate window].

There's also been some call to have SX-related reminders appear in
existing/external todo-lists [think Evo]... this is relatively low on my
priority list ATM, but I can be convinced...

I was sitting here, thinking, 'you know what gnucash really needs?
post-it notes!'   It would be pretty cool to stick one onto 
some transaction; every time you opened the register, there it would 
be, a big fat post-it stuck to the transaction, scrolling with it.
It screams out 'hey you need to deal with this!'

(this might be particularly appropriate for scheduled transactions
when they start coming due ...)
