I have not tried it with other transactions. It is happening with the same
transaction, but I created it several times and with different versions. I
also completely uninstalled and reinstalled software.

I'm not able to replicate this. Does it happen when you reuse any transaction
or just a particular one?

Re: Repeating transactions crash Gnucash 2.6.16 and 2.2.17

2017-07-06 Thread Frank Ciani
David

Thanks for the quick response.

When I type in the first couple of letters in the payee field, the full
name is auto-populated. I then hit the tab key to have the full
transaction populate with the most recent values. Gnucash crashes right
here. When I restart the program, I can sometimes (2.6.16) get the
transaction to work one time, but 2.6.17 doesn't give me even that before
it crashes again.

2.6.15 didn't seem to have this problem for me.

When you say you use the transaction again, do you mean that it is

When you say you use the transaction again, do you mean that it is
scheduled and comes up when running the Since Last Run Assistant? Exactly
at what point does it crash?
