Thanks, Jay. I was under the impression though that django-nonrel offers a way for a regular Django app to connect to the GAE backend. In my case, I want the entire app to run in GAE, and I'm not even that interested in the GAE backend. Is that possible with Django 1.2 + django-nonrel? Djano-nonrel can use 1.2. Are you familiar with that project? If not, check it out. It works like a hose - and you can use Django models if you want to.
