[GRASS-PSC] Proposal: Logo variant to include "GRASS GIS" as name

Hi PSC,

for a better communication, I would suggest to add the string "GRASS
GIS" under the horizontal line in the logo as a variant of it (so,
e.g. on the main Web site, upper left logo it is not needed).
Any objections?

Attaching (a screenshot of) what I used in the EGU Python poster (text
added in LaTeX, textbf textsf).

Just note that keeping "capital letter" everywhere will be a challenge
since we have all-lower-case in the Startup screen.

I agree with the "not overly fancy". It must be usable in different
contexts. Web page, manual, about box, poster, ...

Not everywhere. Just in this single version.
In the past 20-30 years we were pretty open to different logo incarnations :-)

Your screenshot looks fine, do you have a vector version of it?

Just for curiosity, why do you want all capital letters instead of the new 
GRASS 'brand' in lower case and the font we are using in the software?

As I said it's from poster and it was done in LaTeX. However, I guess it
would be easy to recreate it in Inkscape with Libre Sans Serif.

Is the SVG on the website the one Vincent cleaned up?

As a matter of time: I needed it two days ago for a EU project
submission. Not to be used on the Web site for now, just for a
document. But I thought to involve the PSC since it could be done once
forever.

If the PSC prefers the new lower case, we may also prepare it like
this. But I have not the time to do it (nor for the upper case
version) in this period.
