Definitely a good tip. I was a committed D3 user and converted my entire file over to mGTD. That's why my realms are in the state they are. I add my new entries using the correct realms, but the older ones obviously all have the default realm. Someone else mentioned that to me a while ago, but I couldn't find any information at all about how to use it. Nor could I find out if it was any more sophisticated than simply replacing the tags of all tiddlers with tag X to tag Y (which search and replace would do for me in no time). Looking for basic starter info on using D3 (not TiddlyWiki help, specifically D3)
Hi, I'm rereading GTD after several years and using many other systems. I've recently started using TiddlyWiki for my personal notes and task management but would like to try using d3 as part of my system for project/task management (I'll likely keep my reference material in a separate, standard TiddlyWiki). Is there a page or file that explains some of the basic uses of the various significant tags and functions available in d3? A basic walkthrough of creating a project, context, adding, processing, and managing actions, etc. is what I'm looking for specifically. I've looked around a bit and I can infer some of the info I need to know but if there's a formal User Guide or HowTo, that would be very helpful. I don't want to reinvent the wheel and start using it only to find out there is a better, more efficient way already available. The MultiTagEditor plugin can be useful for making bulk changes to tags: http://ido-xp.tiddlyspot.com/#MultiTagEditorPlugin You can enter multiple tags in the search field and then add or remove tags to the relevant tiddlers, using checkboxes.
