[hugin-ptx] Re: win build not working anyway

2010-02-24 Thread Buzby
I use Hugin 2009.4.0 on a Win 2000 machine and couldn't make enblend/
enfuse work. I found enblend_nosse/enfuse_nosse on Source Forge and
downloaded it. Pointed to enblend_nosse/enfuse_nosse in Hugin and have
had no problem since. Don't know if the nosse version is anything
different but you can't lose anything, can you?

This appears to be because this enblend.exe requires the visual C
runtime and it isn't installed.

Er... And what is the proposed solution?

Install the Visual C runtime from Microsoft.

I started compiling unofficial builds of Hugin for windows. Latest one is
2010.1 svn5010.
You can grab them from http://lemur.dreamhosters.com/hugin

http://sourceforge.net/projects/hugin/files/ doesn't list anything
newer that 2009.4, no?
