Horses are often bit in the face and then it swells and cuts off all air. They said one of the horse's head was the size of a fifty gallon drum. Charm's is still big too... it takes awhile for the swelling to go down, I know hers was from a kick, cause I can see the scrape from the toe of the offender She can be a pest, she had it comming I am sure... He swelled up really fast and we put an emergency call into the vet. I'm racking my brain trying to think of what we can use to put in his nostrils in case they swelled shut before the vet came.
