[fsug-tvm] [OT] Changing IP

2009-11-29 Thread Alan
Hi,

I have an Asianet Internet connection. I think it has dynamic IP.
Because it changes once in two days or so. But I have to change my IP
as I wishes. ie; i have to register with a website. But, it doesn't
allow multiple accounts form same IP. So please help me. I'm using
Ubuntu 9.10

@Alan
Since you are using connection from Asianet, It is much helpful if you post
your modem type, and how you connect etc. Procedure to change LAN IP (on
generic ADSL router cum modem) is described in :
http://groups.google.co.in/group/ilug-tvm/browse_thread/thread/d4677c52b13fd220/5b28075dc80bc9e0?lnk=gstq=network#5b28075dc80bc9e0But
since you need to register something on the web, I assume you are
referring to WAN. Changing WAN IP depends on the type of your connection and
ISP. If you send the modem details, I hope I can help you. :)
Regards to all...
