+1 .. and not getting the agreement before committing it is also pretty low. 
but i guess you knew that. at the same time i know that it hurts and php6 not 
moving forward is the root cause there.

I'm not familiar enough with branching in SVN, but at least it's now 
quite good option. I'm all for 5.4, that's my one reason for this.


The main reason was to get this work safe asap, as I'm gonna lose this 
laptop where it was soon enough..patching would have been an option, but 
we really REALLY need this discussion, hence the commit (which is still 
the only way to get comments anymore..)
