Right clicking panel only brings up a list of three: task manager settings, panel options, and remove task manager, and allows to add widgets via panel "options", but not applications. You do it from the Application menu. click K, navigate to the app, right click, add to panel/favorites/desktop -- Chuck Burns ___ This message is from the kde mailing list. The only way I know is to locate the application in the K menu, right click, and there you can add it to favorites, desktop or panel. I would have expected the possibility to drag and drop an application directly to the panel, but that doesn't work. Personally, I prefer the quick launcher plasmoid, because so my twelve launchers take up not much more space than a single application would need. Wonko ___ This message is from the kde mailing list. Re: [kde] 4.8.4 large mouse pointer configuration

Systemsettings: Workspace Appearance and Behavior -> Workspace Appearance -> Cursor Theme page This accessibility handicap (chicken <-> egg) begs another question: why should anyone need to change it? Why doesn't the mouse pointer size adjust automatically as screen pixel density is increased like text does? The system that raised this question is 180 DPI, where the default pointer is all but invisible to the eyes that routinely use it. I expect to see something either under input devices -> mouse, or somewhere in accessibility, but I see it in neither. Is some special package needed? No, it is in kdebase/kde-workspace -- "The wise are known for their understanding, and pleasant words are persuasive." Proverbs 16:21 (New Living Translation) Team OS/2 ** Reg.
