[kdesrc-build] [Bug 362687] New: Enable kdesrc-build to handle Git Submodules
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362687 Bug ID: 362687 Summary: Enable kdesrc-build to handle Git Submodules Product: kdesrc-build Version: unspecified Platform: Other OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: wishlist Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: mp...@kde.org Reporter: cordlandw...@kde.org Currently, kdesrc-build does not respect when Git repositories have submodules and one has to checkout all of them by hand and update them by hand. I see two possible ways how to provide this feature: 1) by default handle every repository as it had submodules: "git clone --recursive" should not be disruptive as well as "git submodule update --recursive" should not harm a repository with submodules IMHO 2) provide an option for the Git call of a module to specifically enable submodule handling. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=361971 Michael changed: What|Removed |Added CC||miabr...@gmail.com --- Comment #3 from Michael --- This has something to do with KoDefaultPaths. In kis_input_profile_manager.cpp line 246: // we have one or more entries for this profile name. We'll take the last, // because that's the most local one. ProfileEntry entry = profileEntries[profileName].first(); So this assumption no longer holds in Krita 3.0, in fact we keep reloading the builtin profile from ~/share/ instead of the intended profile in ~/.local/. [okular] [Bug 306886] Merge selection and browse tool functionality
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=306886 Harold changed: What|Removed |Added CC||spam.inscript...@free.fr --- Comment #7 from Harold --- I know that this bug has been inactive for quite a long time, but I agree with the comment of the original author. I started recently to use Okular in order to replace Evince and I love everything in Okular except the browsing/selection tool. I find very annoying to have to change between the two modes every time. I feel that the strategy adopted by Evince is much simpler: middle button to browse, and left button to select. We find this behaviour in other softwares (Firefox for example), and in general the left button is reserved to selection (text editors). I understand that merging the two tools could be a prejudice for those who are accustomed to them, but having another mode would be very useful. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

Many property items are hold only in the widget and are written back to the related object on pressing okay or apply. Pressing cancel simply do not write back the data into the object. > I think that the best way is remove the button "apply", because we have two > ways of include new attribute/template/operations, by the dialog of > properties or using direct access, and since the dialogs of this features > have his own "Ok" button that already update the file, the button "apply" > lost his purpose. But cancel button also looses its purpose. After adding new operations you cannot undo these adds yet. [konversation] [Bug 360490] Crash after closing "DCC status" tab
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=360490 --- Comment #3 from Lisa --- The discrepancy originates at one of the calls to removeTab (likely the one inside closeDccPanel) and m_popupViewIndex is never updated, so it becomes out of bounds. I attached a patch that works both as a quick fix for this crash and as a "safe default" in the general case: canMoveView{Left,Right} detect the invalid pointer and return "false", causing the view to shift to the first tab in the list rather than to the adjacent one. A minor annoyance compared to the crash. It is not the "proper" fix to this issue though, so I'll leave to the owners the decision on what to do with it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

(if it cannot be removed from /usr/share/mime/packages/kde.xml for some good reason) Since this looks like a issue introduced with kde.xml, maybe David Faure could look at it? [okular] [Bug 342735] when viewing .dvi with included .eps files, these .eps figures are shown in wrong places
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=342735 --- Comment #5 from Luigi Toscano --- The Frameworks version is unofficiale ("frameworks" branch) and that code was basically not touched. If you have some resources (which I don't right now), you may want to try the versions (kdelibs4-based) between 0.14.3 and 0.20.2, were the issue appeared. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
[okular] [Bug 342735] when viewing .dvi with included .eps files, these .eps figures are shown in wrong places
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=342735 --- Comment #4 from Andrey Grozin --- This bug still exists in the current kde5 version from git (in Gentoo it is called okular-5., don't know exactly to which branch it corresponds). Extremely annoying for everybody, who (like me) wants to insert pictures (e.g., Feynman diagrams) into formulas. Is there any hope that somebody could do bisection and find which commit has introduced this bug? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[muon] [Bug 362047] Files from properly loaded ppa's do not appear in muon for installation!
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=362047 --- Comment #3 from Terry Parris --- Carlos, I can indeed confirm your sighting within muon. the ppa shows up in the "Filter by Origin" as pointed out by Rick as well as seeing the package disappear when typed into the search box. Search is indeed failing. I also installed (and I hate to mention this) synaptic to see if it had the same issues. Synaptic did NOT have this issue so I think you're on to the real culprit. It's the search function that is failing. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
