Actually, this feature already exists! I didn't know about it because it's not
very discoverable (that's tracked with

then right-click in any part of the background and choose "Add to Places."

Nepomuk has been ripped out and replaced with Baloo, which works much better,

I am working on an animation.  When I try to render animation to GIF, the
frames get exported to PNG files, but the resulting GIF only has a subset of
those frames.  For instance, rendering from frame 176 to 420 results in a GIF
with only 79 frames.  The proper number of PNG files are generated, however.  I
am using ffmpeg version 2.7.2

Button menu for "Application menu" displayed on title bar for "Window
decorations" different than Breeze and Plastik is the same like button "Menu",
placed usually in left corner of title bar.

In System Settings: "Window decorations -> Buttons" at the left side of title
bar preview I have two buttons: "Menu" and "Application menu". And in Theme I
see that hamburger menu ("Application menu") is placed only on "Breeze" and
"Plastik". On others (Oxygen, FormaN, Chrome dark) I see two the same icons -
 "Menu".

Does it mean that "Application menu" looking like "hamburger menu" is supported
only for "Breeze" and "Plastik" window decorations?

Would be nice to have history of visited locations, at least for current
session or better saved and restored with every run of Dolphin.

I was a bit disappointed that I wasn't able to back to previously visited
directory otherwise than clicking several times in "Go back" button. To be
honest. It was a bit annoying :/. 
I held the button "Go Back" and nothing happened, whereas I expected similar
behavior like in web browsers.
I checked combo with path clicking in arrow down and after several changed of
directory here always was present one entry :(.

I'm not sure if mentioned in subject function in present in Dolphin, but I
wasn't able to find properly option in configuration which turns on this
function.
In "Places -> Recently saved -> Today" I see only empty list, maybe the purpose
for this is different then I expected and here are saved recently saved files
in  some editor (Kate/KWrite).

Works for me in Dolphin 16.12.3 in Kubuntu 17.04 and also in Dolphin 17.08 in
KDE Neon. So at least this is not completely broken for everyone. If anyone is
still experiencing the issue with these later versions of dolphins in more
recent versions of their distros, please comment.
