[konqueror] [Bug 374052] Print Preview not working when using WebEngine
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=374052 Wolfgang Bauer changed: What|Removed |Added Summary|Missing functionalities in |Print Preview not working |browsing mode when using|when using WebEngine |WebEngine | Component|general |webenginepart --- Comment #7 from Wolfgang Bauer --- (In reply to Wolfgang Bauer from comment #5) > - the Tools menu is empty because the plugins haven't been ported to > WebEngine yet This is basically fixed in 18.12.1 now as well. So, AFAICT the only issue left is "Save As"/"Save Frame As" and "Print Preview" not working ("Print" does work fine meanwhile with Qt 5.8+). The former is tracked in bug#389774 anyway, so I'll change the summary to the latter (and reassign to webenginepart). -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

H. Kossebau --- Thanks fro the report. Seems the interesting point in the backtrace is #30 0x7fb082dc56ba in exit () from /lib64/libc.so.6 which is triggered from Qt's X backend class QXcbConnection, possibly because some state was reached where Qt's X handler could not cope with and just calls exit on the whole process. Possibly Plasma might need improvements in doing the clean-up here, so the exit does not escalate in a crash. But more important would be to prevent the exit call. Which would need to know what Qt paniced about, no idea how to debug that myself. Nothing to do with the weather dataengine itself from what I can tell, so moving over to Plasma Generic bugs. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

[ksmserver] [Bug 344967] 99 minute maximum for lock screen
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=344967 codywohlers changed: What|Removed |Added CC||k...@codywohlers.ca --- Comment #16 from codywohlers --- (In reply to Thomas Pfeiffer from comment #14) > (In reply to John Andrew McInnes from comment #11) > > KDE used to be the opposite philosophy. > > If you can make a case where a lock time of more then 99 minutes is needed > ... then we'll happily change that value. I have long terminal processes that run that sometimes take more than 99 minutes. I work on another machine and occasionally glance back over. I have to disable the lock (or edit .config/kscreenlockerrc manually) or remember to move the mouse every 99 minutes. (Then I have to remember to manually lock my station when I leave, or decide if I'm leaving for a long time each time I leave) The main complaint non-linux users have about linux is the command line. And I always say "try KDE, you can do everything from the GUI". But if the new philosophy is "Simple by default. Powerful when needed." this should continue to apply to the GUI configuration. That what makes KDE different - you can configure anything the way you want with the built-in GUI. Not being able to set that number to *anything* is poor design. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
