https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=450655 --- Comment #3 from darktemp...@basealt.ru --- (In reply to Nate Graham from comment #1) > So you unselected the flatpak updates, but they updated anyway? No. I deselected flatpak packages, and flatpak packages did not update. That is fine. But I updated system packages, and reboot is actually needed to apply such updates due to offline updates being enabled. And that is not indicated in main window due to flatpak packages being not updated. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=450676 Nate Graham changed: What|Removed |Added Resolution|--- |WAITINGFORINFO CC||n...@kde.org Status|REPORTED|NEEDSINFO --- Comment #1 from Nate Graham --- The effect you're talking about is used when switching from one desktop to another. However when switching desktops from the Overview effect, you're starting in the Overview effect, not in a virtual desktop. So an animated effect that switches from one desktop to another one does not apply and cannot be used. That's why the Overview effect uses a "zoom out" style animation. To be able to use it, we would have to first close the Overview effect, and then play your default desktop switching animation. If it did this, would you be okay with the fact that it would necessarily make desktop switching slower because it would need to play two animations (leave overview" and "switch virtual desktop") rather than one? -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.

I do not see any overrides There are no special window settings or application settings as far as I can tell. I might add that my desktop setup consists of two 1920x1200 displays and two 3840x2160 displays. The primary displays are the 3840x2160 screens and this is where new sessions are created. I do not see this issue with other KDE applications. STEPS TO REPRODUCE 1. Start a new KDE session, i.e. on the command line "kate -n" OBSERVED RESULT Kate appears in a corner of the screen and defaults to only 20 columns. EXPECTED RESULT I expect a reasonably sized Kate window that can display at least 80 columns without having to resize it. SOFTWARE/OS VERSIONS Windows: macOS: Linux/KDE Plasma: OpenSUSE 15.3 (available in About System) KDE Plasma Version: KDE Frameworks Version: 5.91.0 Qt Version: 5.15.2 ADDITIONAL INFORMATION It appears that these settings are stored in the anonymous session, though even though I resize the window before closing the new settings do not seem to take effect. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=450593 Jack changed: What|Removed |Added CC|ostroffjh@users.sourceforge | |.net| --- Comment #13 from Jack --- Thanks, that sample kmy file is what I wanted. I also found some more evidence of strange things in my own kmy file. Yes, not updating a price if there is no source is fine - but inventing a price-pair that doesn't work and isn't what you entered is not ok. We need to figure out why that happens, and why we can't remove some of those bogus price entries. Then it won't work until you enable the effect on the kcm. This doesn't seem very intuitive and I'm sure it will make some users think it's not working. I'd recommend enabling whatever effects are selected for an edge automatically. [kmymoney] [Bug 450593] Unable to update price for CAD with fx-rate.net
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=450593 --- Comment #11 from lp.allar...@gmail.com --- The last investment that occurred on 2022-12-13 for "CIG2323" was a "Add shares" transaction (year-end dividend reinvestment). I looked in the Price Editor for this investment, and indeed, the last price update is from 2022-01-21 (which was the previously reported update for the zombie pair commodity > CAD) and the other date before that is from 2021-09-01 which is now the reported update date for that zombie "pair" I am not sure to understand: do you want me to create a brand new Kmy file and create the same investment and add shares from one of those 3 investments that fail to update and try to update prices? If this is the case I already did, see attached. Just to clarify, these 3 investment (mutual funds) that do not update are not caused by a bug in KMM or my data file but because I dont have an online source at all to update them. Unless I misunderstood you, this is 100% normal I believe. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
