I've understood, the error comes from my configuration, I have too many screens
so the resolution is too high :
"Requested size QSize(5120, 1080) exceeds maximum supported hardware size
QSize(4096, 4096)"

The question is : how can I configure KRdp monitor settings with KCM ? It's
another big subject 

Hey Mike, for me it works when I deactivate "Persistent bitmap caching" but the
color is a bit weird (the white is not completely white).
I can't see my mouse either.

CLI : krdpserver -u test -p test --monitor 1 --quality 100

When I use system settings to enable RDP server I have a protocol error on the
client side, same error when i use "--plasma" on the command line above.

2024-06-24 Thread Gaël Le Baccon
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=488876

--- Comment #8 from Gaël Le Baccon ---
Yes, Remmina come from Fedora packages : remmina-1.4.33-1.fc40.x86_64

I found this bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2242462 but it
seems to be fixed.

When I try with Remote Desktop from Windows 11, krdpserver crashes with
segmentation fault. I will create another bug report for this.

Thank you for your help,

I have the following RPMs installed:
- intel-media-drivers from RPM Fusion
- x264-libs from RPM Fusion
- openh264

I tried your two command lines but unfortunately it didn't work.

I have attached the new logs from krdpserver and vainfo output.

If you have any other suggestions, I am willing to try.

Krdp server log

SUMMARY
When i try to connect with remmina, i enter in a "Attempting to connect" loop.
I can't connect to my server (which is on the same PC for testing purpose).

The log seems to highlight an issue with client icompatibility not supporting
H.264. But on GitLab, Remmina is in the list of working clients.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Launch the server via KCM or CLI
2. Launch Reminna
3. Establish the connection with the server

OBSERVED RESULT
"Attemting to connect" loop screen on Remmina.

EXPECTED RESULT
Remote server screen.

--- Comment #1 from Gaël Le Baccon ---
In fact the code completion is " partially broken" for all template type not
just for Qt.

Steps to reproduce:

template
class Foo
{
public:
void bar(int i);
};

Foo foo;
foo. {ctrl + space}

It's because in ClangCodeCompletionContext::completionItems the
clang_getCompletionParent function return "Foo" for "bar" function so the
QualifiedIdentifier is "Foo::bar" when the KDevelop::Declaration
QualifiedIdentifier is "Foo< T >::bar".

As the declaration identifier does not match, KDevelop does not find
informations extracted during parse process and create simple completion item
with minimal information.

[kmail2] [Bug 393342] New: Filter rules sometimes failed to apply "add tag"

2018-04-20 Thread Gaël Le Baccon
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=393342

Bug ID: 393342
   Summary: Filter rules sometimes failed to apply "add tag"
   Product: kmail2
   Version: 5.7.2
  Platform: Fedora RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: kdepim-b...@kde.org

Created attachment 112140
  --> https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=112140=edit
filter logs dialog

When akonadi just started my filter rules failed to apply "add tag".

Steps to Reproduce:
Create a Tag "TestTag"
Create a filter that uses that tag.
Select a message that would match, and Apply the filter. The "add tag" action
failed (see the red line on my screenshot).
Now modify the filter, remove action "add tag", reset it and save.
Select a message that would match, and Apply the filter. The "add tag" action
successed (visible on my screenshot at 4:00PM).

it's annoying because at each akonadi restart I have to modify at least one
filter.
