2022-04-15 Thread Raf
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=452651

Bug ID: 452651
Summary: kdenlive not reading the sound tracks
   Product: kdenlive
   Version: 19.12.3
  Platform: Other
OS: Linux
Status: REPORTED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: Video Display & Export
  Assignee: j...@kdenlive.org
  Reporter: chaot...@ctemplar.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Hi, the problem is that kdenlive doesn't read all the sound tracks of the
video. I'm trying to convert DVD format .vob into .mp4 and I got the video
separated into 7 parts. The whole video has 2 sound tracks - surround and
stereo. I need the stereo track. And from all the 7 parts, I can only choose
the stereo track in the 1st part. In the 2nd part I cannot choose anything and
can only go with the surround track which I don't want.

My specs:

I have been able to replicate this myself, current system:

Operating System: Manjaro Linux
KDE Plasma Version: 5.17.3
KDE Frameworks Version: 5.64.0
Qt Version: 5.13.2
Kernel Version: 5.3.12-1-MANJARO
OS Type: 64-bit

Appears to be a duplicate of https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=411584.

For me, it also worked for a while until I experimented with different night
color settings, and then once I chose 'Times' as the operation mode, it became
stuck. Same problem as Komorebi's.

OMG, this was so long ago. At the end of 2016 I moved to Plasma 5.8.x LTS
versions so I cannot get more detailed backtrace for this case.

Anyway as said by Marco it was probably duplicate of bug #358471. It is not
reproducible anymore on Plasma 5.8. versions.

Hi, in my case panel auto-hide breaks after virtual desktop change or when I
open new app. On that panel I have the following widgets:
- icon only task manager,
- tasks monitor
- digital clock.

The one that breaks auto-hide of panel is task manager/switcher with enabled
option “show tasks only from current desktop”. When you disable this option
(task switcher shows all running apps from all desktops) panel auto-hide works
fine.

You can also fix it by moving the mouse on the panel and after that it hides
correctly.

Maybe this is related with Bug 394119.

Nothing new but the same thing is on openSUSE 42.2 with plasma 5.8.6
kframeworks 5.26.0.

Shouldn't this bug be moved to dolphin-general ? Using loop devices is the
normal way the snapd works, so maybe it would be better to only hide it somehow
in file manager ? (just guessing)

The same on openSUSE Leap 42.2 with Asus Zenfone Laser 2
Kernel: 4.4.103-18.41
dolphin-16.08.2-3.1
KDE PLasma 5.8.6
KDE Frameworks: 5.26.0

In journal log I can see:
usb 1-2: usbfs: process 9778 (mtp.so) did not claim interface 0 before use
usb 1-2: reset high-speed USB device number 10 using xhci_hcd

-

This usually occurs when the device goes to sleep mode while still being
connected via USB. However as far as I remember on some of Android devices this
is not invoking any problems with transfer.

[klipper] [Bug 348932] "Ignore Images" does not...

2017-08-29 Thread Raf
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=348932

I think most of us (me too) misunderstood this function. It actually works fine
when you cut/copy a selection from image from graphical editor for example
krita or gimp.

"Ignore images" is not applicable however when you cut/copy an image file using
file manager. In this case klipper see image file as normal file and also
displays the thumbnail which is I think the main source of confusion.

In the future version we could have an option "Ignore files" in the klipper
menu which should solve the problem.

Tested also with Remmina with similar results. So it looks like this is problem
with libvncclient.

Looks like it is fixed in version 0.9.11, but I didn't test it by myself.

Also when I changed VNC server config and force it to use RFB version 3.3

Maybe this is libvncserver issue ?

[ark] [Bug 376555] New: Error while opening or extracting specific zip file (file type mismatch ?)

2017-02-16 Thread Raf
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=376555

Bug ID: 376555
Summary: Error while opening or extracting specific zip file
(file type mismatch ?)
   Product: ark
   Version: 16.08.2
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Severity: normal
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: elvis.angelac...@kde.org
  Reporter: raf...@gmail.com
CC: rthoms...@gmail.com
  Target Milestone: ---

Application: ark (16.08.2)

Qt Version: 5.6.1
Frameworks Version: 5.26.0
Operating System: Linux 4.4.46-11-default x86_64
Distribution: "openSUSE Leap 42.2"

-- Information about the crash:
Ark don't want to open or extract specified zip files. The files can be somehow
corrupt, however other archives programs on other platforms don't have any
problems with them.

You can check the files (it's from US gov agency responsible for air traffic
control):
http://aeronav.faa.gov/enroute/03-02-2017/delcb3.zip
http://aeronav.faa.gov/enroute/03-02-2017/delcb1.zip
http://aeronav.faa.gov/enroute/03-02-2017/delcb5.zip
http://aeronav.faa.gov/enroute/03-02-2017/dehcb1.zip

When you try to open with ark you get error with following console output:
ark.kerfuffle: Mimetype for filename extension ( "application/zip" ) did not
match mimetype for content ( "application/pdf" ). Using content-based mimetype.
ark.kerfuffle: Could not find a plugin to handle "/home/xxx/x/delcb3.zip"

The 'file' command gives you back:
delcb3.zip: Zip archive data, at least v2.0 to extract Zip archive data, at
least v2.0 to extract

When you try to open it with batch option application crashes with flowing
output/backtrace:

[krfb] [Bug 218557] Screen refreshed initially only

Similar bugs: Bug 356782 and Bug 363217

There is a workaround posted by Alexey:
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=356782#c6
With this workaround krfb should work correctly and you should be able to
connect to VNC even with active desktop effects.

Just to confirm that this bug is still valid on:
krfb-16.08.2-1.1 (version 5.0)
KDE Plasma 5.8.3
KDEframework: 5.26.0
Qt 5.6.1
xcb

Os: openSUSE Leap 42.2
Using intel integrated graphics (xf86-video-intel)

I have turned off compositor (desktop effects) and tried several configurations
with vertical sync settings. The effect is the same - when you log in to the
krfb server with any vnc viewer you only see initial screen which is no
refreshed later. Mouse and keyboard are working fine but on the remote client
you can't see any changes on the screen.

I have the same problem. Touchpad toggle keyboard shortcut is only disabling
touchpad. You cannot enable touchpad using this shortcut. I have tried with
other key configurations and the result is the same.

Hardware: Asus UX303 LN
Touchpad: FocalTechPS/2 FocalTech FocalTech Touchpad as
/devices/platform/i8042/serio4/input/input5
Kernel: 4.4.36-8-default
OS: openSUSE 42.2
KDE Plasma: 5.8.3
KF: 5.26.0
Qt: 5.6.1

--

As a workaround you have to assign different keyboard shortcuts for "touchpad
enable" and "touchpad disable" actions in systemsettings. Those shortcuts work
properly.

[kate] [Bug 363307] kate crash when closing large text file

2016-05-30 Thread Raf via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363307

Ok, I understand. Frankly it is very rare when I use kate for such large files
- in most cases console scripts for sting search or insert do the work.

Anyway, thank you for the reply and clarification.

[kate] [Bug 363307] kate crash when closing large text file

2016-05-22 Thread Raf via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=363307

It is reproducible only with big (~600 MB) files.

Output from the terminal before the crash:

Qt has caught an exception thrown from an event handler. Throwing
exceptions from an event handler is not supported in Qt. You must
reimplement QApplication::notify() and catch all exceptions there.

terminate called after throwing an instance of 'std::bad_alloc'
  what():  std::bad_alloc

[plasma4] [Bug 358214] New: Error during KDE Activities switching

2016-01-19 Thread Raf via KDE Bugzilla
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=358214

Bug ID: 358214
Summary: Error during KDE Activities switching
   Product: plasma4
   Version: unspecified
  Platform: openSUSE RPMs
OS: Linux
Status: UNCONFIRMED
  Keywords: drkonqi
  Severity: crash
  Priority: NOR
 Component: general
  Assignee: plasma-b...@kde.org
  Reporter: raf...@gmail.com

Application: plasma-desktop (4.11.20)
KDE Platform Version: 4.14.9
Qt Version: 4.8.6
Operating System: Linux 3.16.7-29-default x86_64
Distribution: "openSUSE 13.2 (Harlequin) (x86_64)"

-- Information about the crash:
I am unable to go back to previously prepared KDE Activity. When I try to
launch already prepared activity the desktop appears for ~1s and then
disappears and goes back to previous Activity or blank screen is visible. This
situation appears every time when I create new KDE Activity – add some Plasma
Applets and then create another Activity. When I try to switch to the previous
Activity (with applets on the dashboard) the error occurs.

The crash can be reproduced every time.
