First of all can you please update to the latest version (https://kdenlive.org/en/download/) and report here whether this is still happening? Btw do you use the appimage? Do you remember which kdenlive version it worked with before you switched to 20.08 (melt version is also interestion if you can provide it Settings -> About Kdenlive)?
