[Bug 233734] Back and Forward buttons don't work if WebKit is the browser engine
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=233734 --- Comment #3 from Dawit Alemayehu 2011-06-07 23:30:15 --- Well, I guess this bug report was waiting from my input. From what I have been able to tell by enabling debugging, this problem stems from the fact that akregator uses a "hack" it copied from kdevelop to make history navigation work. Unfortunately, the so called "hack" is exactly that, a hack. An unnecessary one at that if you ask me. The proper way to update your history list is to listen for the KParts::BrowserExtension::openUrlNotify singal. As the documentation explains, once you receive that signal, just query the KPart for the url. However, that is not what akregator does. It does not even connect to the aforementioned signal and as such whatever hack it is using is only applicable to khtml because KHTML uses the KPart's openUrlRequested signal to fulfill each and every request including the clicks on links. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 275154] New: in case of BCC list recipients as 'Undisclosed recipients' instead of leaving them blank
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=275154 Summary: in case of BCC list recipients as 'Undisclosed recipients' instead of leaving them blank Product: kmail2 Version: unspecified Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: a.vanl...@alexandervanloon.nl Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.3) OS:Linux Using Kontact version 4.6 rc1 here. Please see bug #274966. If you are a BCC addressee of an e-mail you will see not see any recipient mentioned in the 'To:' field of that e-mail. Not seeing any recipient mentioned in that field is very strange for users, because obviously the user received that e-mail. Leaving it blank only confuses the user, I thought it was a bug in KMail (which it is, even though it is not unintended behaviour). The headers of such e-mails apparently list 'undisclosed-recipients' as the addressees. I suggest that KMail also mentions this in the GUI, showing 'Undisclosed recipients' in the 'To:' field instead of leaving it blank. [Bug 275110] New: kmail: Forward/Reply buttons with arrow do not expand selection mode
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=275110 Summary: kmail: Forward/Reply buttons with arrow do not expand selection mode Product: kmail2 Version: unspecified Platform: Archlinux Packages OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: UI AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: markota...@gmail.com Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.3) OS:Linux Actions as Check new mail, Reply, Forward have multiple variants (reply, reply to all, reply to ML, forward inline,...). The buttons in kmail smartly represent just one (most used option of these) but contain an arrow in bottom-right corner which should list other possible options. (I can do it now with Message>Reply to All, etc..) This behavior is very convenient and is typical in many other mail clients too. It would be nice to have it working in kmail. Thank you, Marek Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Click on "the arrow" in Reply button, it does not offer any selection. Actual Results: it does not offer any selection. Expected Results: *Clicking in the "big area" of the button does the default and most common choice - simple reply,.. *Clicking on the arrow in corner pops-out a eg drop-down list with other choices : Reply, Reply to All, reply to ML,... -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 86423] Ability To Reply To HTML Email With Same HTML Format As It Was Received
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=86423 Tin Blaskovic changed: What|Removed |Added CC||tin.blasko...@gmail.com --- Comment #222 from Tin Blaskovic 2011-06-07 09:48:09 --- Well, thanks to the devs (Thomas and Sudhendu) who are tackling this, and to Google for picking up the tab. This feature should make quite a difference in enterprise adoption of kmail, in my experience - being able to top quote and forward without losing the format is simply a must in such environments.
