[Bug 295043] New: openpgp signature of expired key is shown as invalid
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=295043 Summary: openpgp signature of expired key is shown as invalid Product: kmail2 Version: unspecified Platform: openSUSE RPMs OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: minor Priority: NOR Component: crypto AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: ha...@laging.de Version: unspecified (using KDE 4.6.0) OS:Linux After the expiration of the signing key the signature is shown as invalid. Not even the details give any hint to the real problem. Even worse: It is as far as I can see exactly the same behaviour like with a bad signature. GnuPG knows these statuses for signatures (see /usr/share/doc/packages/gpg2/DETAILS): GOODSIG EXPSIG EXPKEYSIG REVKEYSIG BADSIG ERRSIG VALIDSIG It seems to me that kmail tells apart only GOODSIG on the one hand and the rest on the other. And for the first case the different TRUST_* levels. I think this can be considered a bug. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: Click on the mail. Expected Results: EXPSIG and EXPKEYSIG should be treated like the combination GOODSIG/TRUST_UNDEFINED i.e. show the mail border in yellow and tell the user about the problem in the details section. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 295032] New: KMail complains about conflict when sending a mail to a message list I'm subscribed to
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=295032 Summary: KMail complains about conflict when sending a mail to a message list I'm subscribed to Product: kmail2 Version: 1.99.0 Platform: Unlisted Binaries OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: NOR Component: general AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: mar...@harrisonland.co.uk Version: 1.99.0 OS:Linux I have KMail configured so that my accounts all use their own Inbox folder as their, "Sent Messages" folder, so as soon as an E-mail is sent it is sent to my Inbox. This is for clarity when reading threaded E-mail conversations. However, this presents a problem when sending E-mail to a mailing list that I'm subscribed to - as both the E-mail I have just sent and the new E-mail coming in from the mailing list both go to my Inbox, it results in a conflict between the two messages every single time. This could potentially happen with, "Keep Replies in This Folder" option selected on the Inbox (or another folder if you're using E-mail filters) as well. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Compose a new message to the KDE-PIM mailing list (if you are subscribed) or alternatively, to the same E-mail address as you are sending it from 2. Click View --> Sent-Mail Folder and select your current inbox as the sent-mail folder 3. Write yourself a nice message. Put a smiley face on the end. 4. Send it 5. If necessary, click "Check Mail" or right-click on your inbox and click "Update Folder" (I didn't find this necessary) Actual Results: A nasty pop-up box about resolving conflicts pops up. Expected Results: The Inbox folder should display both messages as separate and distinct objects. Set the action to move into some temporary folder. Assign a shortcut to it so it can be issued quickly. Then select some mails and trigger the shortcut twice in a row. This will bring the "No items found" error quite reliably. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=295000 --- Comment #1 from thomas gahr 2012-02-28 18:41:07 --- Well, I have been able to sorta reproduce the "No items found" error message, but the method is quite unorthodox, you have to be fast ;) The situation: create a folder and move a bunch of mails there. Before doing so try to put the system under load so the moving will take a little longer - i.e. akonadi(?) needs to be slow. This way, if you're fast enough, you can issue the move command a second time while the messages are still in their old folder. In other words: create two "overlapping" move actions for the same message(s). This way I got the "No items found" error to appear. No luck on getting emails eaten though. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

What was unusual this time was that the local LAN connection remained up (as the outage was caused by IT department breaking stuff elsewhere). -- Backtrace: Application: AceAxis of type IMAP E-Mail Server (akonadi_imap_resource), signal: Segmentation fault [Current thread is 1 (Thread 0xb4c18710 (LWP 17045))] Thread 9 (Thread 0xb23ffb70 (LWP 1940)): #0 0xb570dd10 in __GI_clock_gettime (clock_id=1, tp=0xb23ff028) at ../sysdeps/unix/clock_gettime.c:116 #1 0xb73d17d5 in do_gettime (frac=0xb23ff020, sec=0xb23ff018) at tools/qelapsedtimer_unix.cpp:123 #2 qt_gettime () at tools/qelapsedtimer_unix.cpp:140 #3 0xb74a44b6 in QTimerInfoList::updateCurrentTime (this=0x8aefbc4) at kernel/qeventdispatcher_unix.cpp:339 #4 0xb74a480a in QTimerInfoList::timerWait (this=0x8aefbc4, tm=...) at kernel/qeventdispatcher_unix.cpp:442 #5 0xb74a3053 in timerSourcePrepareHelper (src=, timeout=0xb23ff12c) at kernel/qeventdispatcher_glib.cpp:136 #6 0xb74a30ed in timerSourcePrepare (source=0x8aefb90, timeout=) at kernel/qeventdispatcher_glib.cpp:169 #7 0xb565388c in g_main_context_prepare (context=0x8af36b0, priority=0xb23ff188) at /build/buildd/glib2.0-2.30.0/./glib/gmain.c:2762 #8 0xb5654637 in g_main_context_iterate (context=0x8af36b0, block=1, dispatch=1, self=) at /build/buildd/glib2.0-2.30.0/./glib/gmain.c:3069 #9 0xb5654c2a in g_main_context_iteration (context=0x8af36b0, may_block=1) at /build/buildd/glib2.0-2.30.0/./glib/gmain.c:3152 #10 0xb74a3b37 in QEventDispatcherGlib::processEvents (this=0x88668d0, flags=...) at kernel/qeventdispatcher_glib.cpp:424 #11 0xb74741dd in QEventLoop::processEvents (this=0xb23ff2b0, flags=...) at kernel/qeventloop.cpp:149 #12 0xb7474421 in QEventLoop::exec (this=0xb23ff2b0, flags=...) at kernel/qeventloop.cpp:201 #13 0xb737790b in QThread::exec (this=0x8b59d68) at thread/qthread.cpp:498 #14 0xb7454e2d in QInotifyFileSystemWatcherEngine::run (this=0x8b59d68) at io/qfilesystemwatcher_inotify.cpp:248 #15 0xb737a7b3 in QThreadPrivate::start (arg=0x8b59d68) at thread/qthread_unix.cpp:331 #16 0xb57c4d31 in start_thread (arg=0xb23ffb70) at pthread_create.c:304 #17 0xb59060ce in clone () at ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/i386/clone.S:130 Backtrace stopped: Not enough registers or memory available to unwind further Thread 8 (Thread 0xb383fb70 (LWP 23228)): #0 0xb57c7d44 in __pthread_mutex_unlock_usercnt (mutex=0x8affa54, decr=1) at pthread_mutex_unlock.c:52 #1 0xb5913f54 in pthread_mutex_unlock (mutex=0x8affa54) at forward.c:184 #2 0xb5653f1f in g_main_context_check (context=0x8affa50, max_priority=2147483647, fds=0xb240bda8, n_fds=1) at /build/buildd/glib2.0-2.30.0/./glib/gmain.c:2957 #3 0xb56548f0 in g_main_context_iterate (context=0x8affa50, block=-1251593440, dispatch=1, self=) at /build/buildd/glib2.0-2.30.0/./glib/gmain.c:3086 #4 0xb5654c2a in g_main_context_iteration (context=0x8affa50, may_block=1) at /build/buildd/glib2.0-2.30.0/./glib/gmain.c:3152 #5 0xb74a3b37 in QEventDispatcherGlib::processEvents (this=0x8e24b98, flags=...) at kernel/qeventdispatcher_glib.cpp:424 #6 0xb74741dd in QEventLoop::processEvents (this=0xb383f2d0, flags=...) at kernel/qeventloop.cpp:149 #7 0xb7474421 in QEventLoop::exec (this=0xb383f2d0, flags=...) at kernel/qeventloop.cpp:201 #8 0xb737790b in QThread::exec (this=0x8b34758) at thread/qthread.cpp:498 #9 0xb66d64d0 in KIMAP::SessionThread::run (this=0x8b34758) at ../../kimap/sessionthread.cpp:169 #10 0xb737a7b3 in QThreadPrivate::start (arg=0x8b34758) at thread/qthread_unix.cpp:331 #11 0xb57c4d31 in start_thread (arg=0xb383fb70) at pthread_create.c:304 #12 0xb59060ce in clone () at ../sysdeps/unix/sysv/linux/i386/clone.S:130 Backt
[Bug 295000] New: KMail dataloss: Incoming EMails are destroyed
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=295000 Summary: KMail dataloss: Incoming EMails are destroyed Product: kmail2 Version: 4.8 Platform: Fedora RPMs OS/Version: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: filtering AssignedTo: kdepim-bugs@kde.org ReportedBy: kde-bugzi...@dadommas.de Version: 4.8 (using KDE 4.8.0) OS:Linux I hate to be so unspecific but this one is hard to describe. >From time to time - about twice a week I am spammed with messageboxes from KMail stating "Unknown error - No items found". And I find the inbox of one of my pop3-accounts containing a list of empty emails - (No Subject), unknown sender, unknown date - as in: completely shredded. I seeem to have lost about 150 mails this way and this really... sucks... The only thing I see when opening one of these mails is: X-CRM114-Version: 20100106-BlameMichelson ( TRE 0.8.0 (BSD) ) MR-646709E3 X-CRM114-CacheID: sfid-20120116_225406_819802_58555055 Message-Id: (sfid-20120116_225406_819802_58555055) X-CRM114-Status: UNSURE ( 0.00 ) X-CRM114-Notice: Please train this message. It looks like my spam-filter was handed the email already empty. Unfortunately I have no idea how to reproduce this, it just happens every now and then. Any pointer as to how to debug this would be highly appreciated, I want to be as helpful as possible to track down this bug. Reproducible: Couldn't Reproduce Steps to Reproduce: None, happens sporadically. My mails are eaten. Expected Results: My mails should not be eaten. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[Bug 258551] KMailCVT leaks lots of memory when importing maildir
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=258551 jtscso...@gmail.com changed: What|Removed |Added CC||jtscso...@gmail.com --- Comment #4 from2012-02-28 12:11:12 --- Still present in KDE 4.8. I have about 7Gb of kmail archives, which I want to import in kmail2 for reference. The import progresses and by the time it reaches 11% consumes 5566Mb do Virtual memory and 2729M of resident memory. This is a 4Gb machine with 4Gb swap, so I expect the process will be killed soon, like the fist time I tried to convert the folder. -- Configure bugmail: https://bugs.kde.org/userprefs.cgi?tab=email --- You are receiving this mail because: --- You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
