[kaddressbook] [Bug 299663] "Apply" button in the contact form is missing in the current version of KDE Kontact
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=299663 K. A. Sayeed changed: What|Removed |Added CC||sayeed...@gmail.com --- Comment #1 from K. A. Sayeed --- 1. It may be worth noting that the "Apply" button is available in Korganizer (Events, To Do, and Journal). 2. However, it was removed in the Kaddressbook after KDE version 4.3.2. If it continues to be available in Korganizer why was it removed from the contact entry form in Kaddressbook in versions after 4.3.2? This appears to be a regression. 3. The "Apply" button is useful for the following reasons: 3.1. It enables intermediate saving of data that has been entered into the contact form of the Kaddressbook without having to close the entry in order to save the data that has been already entered. 4. It will be a good idea to reinstate the "Apply" button in version 4.10. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=314474 Bug ID: 314474 Summary: Cannot edit multiple entries in Kaddressbook simultaneously Classification: Unclassified Product: kaddressbook Version: 4.9 Platform: Ubuntu Packages OS: Linux Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: NOR Component: general Assignee: kdepim-bugs@kde.org Reporter: sayeed...@gmail.com CC: to...@kde.org 1. In KDE version 4.3.2, it was possible to open and edit multiple contact entries in Kaddressbook simultaneously. This is not possible in version 4.9. As a matter of fact, when on contact entry is opened for editing, Kaddressbook becomes gray and it is no longer possible to have access to any other contact entry. Will it be possible to open and edit multiple contact entries in version 4.10? 2. This feature is absolutely necessary for the following reasons: 2.1. Some times it becomes necessary to view more than one contact entry (for example, in order to compare them). 2.2. Some times it becomes necessary to view and copy information from one contact entry for use in creating or editing another contact entry. 2.3. The inability to open and edit multiple contact entries simultaneously makes the use of Kaddressbook much more difficult and much less efficient. 3. One wonders why versions of Kaddressbook after version 4.3.2 have regressed in this matter. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs

[kmail2] [Bug 306694] kmail2 shows empty messages in message list
https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=306694 Dmitri Kolobov changed: What|Removed |Added CC||kolo...@iszf.irk.ru --- Comment #7 from Dmitri Kolobov --- OpenSuSE 12.2, 12.1, (different kmail versions) One day I discovered, that a lot of messages stored locally are blank. I'm not sure if it can help, but I use Unison to sync maildirs between hosts with different hostnames. I have an suspicion that duplicated messages files confuse kmail (I mean hostname prefix in mail file names or etc) . -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Kdepim-bugs mailing list Kdepim-bugs@kde.org https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kdepim-bugs
