[Kernel-packages] [Bug 49052] Re: no hfs+ journal write support by default (gets mounted as read only)
Is there any way to get the driver (Ubuntu 13.10 saucy / Kernel 3.13-rc1) without having to compile it myself? tia b -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/49052 Title: no hfs+ journal write support by default (gets mounted as read only) Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Status in “linux-source-2.6.15” package in Ubuntu: Invalid Bug description: Binary package hint: linux-686 Dapper Drake does not appear to support a HFS+ journaled file system. This manifests when I connect my ipod mini, and dmesg warns that: 'HFS+-fs: write access to a jounaled filesystem is not supported, use the force option at your own risk, mounting read-only.' Using force appears to work to mount the device read/write. This was not a problem under Breezy, which makes me think that it's a kernel compilation issue. This occurs while running kernel linux-686 2.6.15.22 Thanks! :-) To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/49052/+subscriptions -- Mailing list: https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages Post to : kernel-packages@lists.launchpad.net Unsubscribe : https://launchpad.net/~kernel-packages More help : https://help.launchpad.net/ListHelp
[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1110139] Re: Broadcom BCM4313 wireless card driver not working
*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 1097519 *** https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1097519 Can someone please post some directions on what you did to fix this? I've been pounding my head against the wall trying to get my broadcom4313 to work. I can see wireless networks, I can connect to WEP, but I can't connect to a WPA2 network. I've blacklisted drivers, built the driver from broadcom, and tried the driver that lets me wireless card work, but makes it so slow that it's bareley usable. That, and not having UBUNTU forums up right now is killing me. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1110139 Title: Broadcom BCM4313 wireless card driver not working Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Confirmed Bug description: Ubuntu 13.04 daily from 2013-01-28: live system with raring-desktop-amd64.iso on a Lenovo B580 laptop with Broadcom BCM4313 wireless card. The driver that comes with raring daily from 2013-01-28 does not connect to my wlan. The wlan name is detected, but I can not get over authentication with WPA2.
