[Kernel-packages] [Bug 1324448] Re: [Dell Latitude E6400] Different fan behaviour in my laptop after upgrade to ubuntu 14.04
Just now I am running upstream 3.15-rc7 kernel, no load, watch sensors gives me temperatures between 38 and 40 degree celsius and the fan runs for approx 6 seconds , stops for 1 second and so on. I think I need a more reproducable way to test it. Is there any test suite for this (which logs the fan speeds and core temperatures for different system loads and time intervalls)? -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1324448 Title: [Dell Latitude E6400] Different fan behaviour in my laptop after upgrade to ubuntu 14.04 Status in “linux” package in Ubuntu: Incomplete Bug description: After upgrading from lubuntu 13.10 to 14.04 the fan of my laptop seems to run much more often than in 13.10.
