Do you have time to install a test kernel before the system hangs up? If so, it might be good to test the latest mainline kernel to see if this bug is already fixed: http://kernel.ubuntu.com/~kernel-ppa/mainline/v4.9/ ** Tags added: kernel-da-key xenial ** Also affects: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu) Importance: Undecided => High ** Also affects: debian-installer (Ubuntu Xenial) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Also affects: linux (Ubuntu Xenial) Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu Xenial) Status: New => Triaged ** Changed in: linux (Ubuntu Xenial) Importance: Undecided => High -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Kernel Packages, which is subscribed to linux in Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1650032 Title: [189162-S5B]System received Call trace and NMI watchdog when boot into Ubuntu 16.04 and system will hang up soon.
