I thought only moderators where affected, or I would have brought up the
problem earlier. Glad it's fixed.

Re: Problems with group reading

2010-06-28 Thread Tim Krause
Yes, there is a problem with google and firefox. There is a cookie causing
the problem. The message boards seem to disagree which cookie is the
problem, but I found by removing all of the google.groups.com cookies clears
up the problem.

In Firefox got to the "Tool" and select "Options". From there select the
"Privacy" tab and select "remove individual cookies". A long list of
cookies will appear. Scroll down until you see a name with
google.groups.com in it, and delete that cookie. There will be several
listed. There is also a search box that will find them. Once they are
deleted, they will be created and the problem is solved. At least it was
for me.

Re: Problems with group reading

2010-06-28 Thread SteveEJ
Still no good. Mine shows it as a secured site with a security
certificate. The lock is displayed at the bottom. It is locked up in
'redirecting'.

I do not see a no-script indicator. There is a lock, stars and XMarks
icon.

Thanks,

Steve

Re: Problems with group reading

2010-06-28 Thread Sanat
Hi Steve

I am using Firefox version 3.6.6 It is recommended that this new
version be used if you are not presently using it because of the
tendency of some sites to commandeer tabs. If you are running "No-
Script" as well then some sites need to be added to the whitelist in
No-Script. Look in the no-script lists to see if it is re-directing
you.(right click the no-script indicator at the bottom of the page and
then click "options").

I have the following Google sites in my whitelist
google-analytics.com
google.com
googleadservices.com
googleapis.com
googlesyndication.com

I am presently typing this on-line so the problem is not with a
compatibility problem with the Firefox browser and Google

sincerely

Sanat

Hey folks,
Am I the only one having problems reading the group with Mozilla
Firefox? It keeps trying to load the page and says 'Redirecting'.

All is good with Internet Explorer..

  Any ideas?
