RE: [LegacyUG] Geo Location Database
Charles, A couple of simple things to do to make sure that Legacy can see the Geo Location Database. Close Legacy, reboot your computer, then start Legacy back up. If that doesn't work reinstall the current update from here. http://www.legacyfamilytree.com/DownloadUpdate.asp Michele Technical Support mich...@legacyfamilytree.com www.legacyfamilytree.com -Original Message- From: Charles Brasell [mailto:c.bras...@xtra.co.nz] Sent: Saturday, November 29, 2014 8:09 PM To: legacyusergroup@LegacyUsers.com Subject: Re: [LegacyUG] Geo Location Database Hello Sherry Yes the 392Mb GeoDB is there Charles Legacy User Group guidelines: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Etiquette.asp Archived messages after Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyusers.com/ Archived messages from old mail server - before Nov. 21 2009: http://www.mail-archive.com/legacyusergroup@legacyfamilytree.com/ Online technical support: http://www.LegacyFamilyTree.com/Help.asp Follow Legacy on Facebook (http://www.facebook.com/LegacyFamilyTree) and on our blog (http://news.LegacyFamilyTree.com). The first thing is to make sure it actually installed. It installs into a hidden folder so you have to have hidden folders and files turned on in Windows to see it. Very good. I found them. I downloaded them all and attempted to install several. It would install one, say US, and tell me the others were missing.
