After indenting a paragraph section I then wish to dedent a new section. On the Ruler Bar the default alignment has the upper triangle at 0.0, the lower at 0.5. After indent the upper tri is at 0.75, the lower tri as at 1.25. After dedent the upper tri is at -0.5, the lower tri is at 0.0. I tried setting the tab stop length to 1.0 cm in Tools->Options-> Writer-> General, but it has no effect. I have a feeling the problem is related to my style settings: I like each paragraph to begin at 0.0 with each subsequent line indented 0.5 cm. In Paragraph Style -> Indents & Spacing the Indents settings are: Before Text: 0.5 cm After text 0.0 cm First Line: -0.5 cm Could you just make the dedent stop at 0? https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91087 Bug ID: 91087 Summary: Can't convert a multi-spreadsheet to PDF. PDFs all are on "portrait" mode. Product: LibreOffice Version: 4.4.0.3 release Hardware: Other OS: Windows (All) Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: major Priority: medium Component: Calc Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: moha...@gmail.com When converting a six-page spreadsheet to PDF, only the middle three pages get converted! I do simple accounting for a small office, but this bug has me pissed off, since the PDF converter at Libre Office seems to be the only working converter I can find. Also, after I've made the conversion, the resultant pages in PDF are all in "portrait mode,' and not the presumably easier to follow "landscape" mode. I've searched for a solution to this problem, but I come up empty-handed. None of the properties listed in the PDF converter have any way of changing the default "portrait" to a default "landscape." https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=91049 --- Comment #2 from c0decakes...@gmail.com --- Sorry, what I mean is that the interface is very different from Microsoft Office and that may seem intimidating because you no longer know how to use it. I don't mean directly competing against Microsoft Office but I'm saying that it may lessen potential users coming from other office programs because they may use the others just because it's simpler. Again, apologies if this is basically the same thing, please ignore this part if it is. Also, I'm not sure if others think this too but I'm making a guess that may be why others like "modern" UIs so much. My theory is that a simple UI, icons, layout, etc will make the application seem more simple rather than complicated icons, layouts, etc which may remind people of "old" programs and their assumptions are that it will be difficult to use. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug. ___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

The entire SQL statement gets reformatted without any line breaks or extra spaces. I never bother with the query design view but always enter SQL code directly,. Since my queries frequently these tend to be somewhat complex, I format them with line breaks and indentation to make them more legible at least while I create them. Therefore I'd strongly favor storing the SQL source as plain text, with all formatting preserved, rather than in some abstraction format, when the last edit to the query was in SQL mode.
