https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=142639 --- Comment #5 from Valek Filippov --- tdf#116623 root cause is that Region has to be reset if RGN_COPY mode is in use only of no region data are provided. However implementing RGN_COPY fails on other tests, because ClipRegion can appear offset from the expected position. There are three cases for RGN_COPY: 1. There is a RegionData block -- it should be used to calculate and set the region. 2. There is no RegionData at all -- it should reset the region to default. 3. There is a RegionData with 0 RectL provided -- that seems to set ClipRegion to 0 sized area, hence no drawing made after is visible until the region is reset. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 57181] FILESAVE as pptx: slide names replaced by default names
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=57181 --- Comment #17 from NISZ LibreOffice Team --- Ah, so many different issues still... this file if inspected more closely, could also be a treasure trove of "improvement opportunities". (In reply to Timur from comment #16) > When opening 47-slide MSO Attachment 61765 [details], in LO 7.2+ I see Slide > 1, Objectives,.., Slide 6, Estimation,.., Slide 9, Slide 10,.. > Slide 1 name is not read from OO. Indeed! But that's a separate pre-existing fileopen issue. I'll file a new bug for that. Long (64 char+) slide names are also turned into "Slide N" format, instead of being truncated a bit + numbered; like on the last two slides. I'll file a new bug about this as well. Finally there are slides without a Title box, I think for those the default Slide N is viable. For example in PP the Custom Slide Show dialog refers to the slides by their Title box contents and slides without any Title box appear as Slide N even in PP, such as slide 13, 18, 36, 42 in this example file. > Slide 6 is a consequence of being the same > as of slide 5, change in bug 103347 (solved by renaming same name to Slide X > and not to Existing Slide Name (1)). > I think we should change that. > If saved as PPTX and reopen in LO, Slide 1 name is proper, Slide X remain, > but renamed slide is not remembered. In MSO all names are proper (renamed > slide still shown as original). How did you rename it? Using the Rename Slide box does not retain the new content, but changing the actual slide title in the editor works after reload and fills the name in the Rename Slide box and Navigator as well. Since slide name is generated from the Title placeholders in case of PPTX, I think this is as far as we can go. Unless we want to start to explore options to disable the Rename Slide functionality upon opening a PPTX file. > So I don't see this fixed. > If it is, please explain. > This bug was about the view of the LO-saved PPTX in LO, which improved dramatically compared to the former complete loss of generated contents in the Navigator and also in the Overview view. But there is still some room for improvement, thanks for noticing :). > As for Importance, I set Low-Normal, because as explained this is LO-only > feature. > > Note that MSO asks to repair PPTX coming from LO-saved Attachment 61765 > [details] (another issue, seems not regression). I can't reproduce this issue anymore. Ok so it would be a regression then. > Is there a need to remove PSD filter just because it is proprietary and not > 100%? I can think of other filters that also meet that criteria. There is no "need" per se, it's just a thought. Yes there are other prioprietary formats which are not 100% supported by LO but in this specific case, I prefer improving jpg/png/gif support since psd can be exported in one of these by software like Photoshop or Gimp. Also, I just wonder how often psd import in LO is used compared with the 3 quoted image formats. Of course, I don't say psd is a bad format or hardly used in general, I just mean to include it in a doc. I wonder if Word, Excel, Powerpoint can insert psd for just displaying. (it's a real question, no ironical tone here, I don't have MSOffice to give it a try right now). > > LibreOffice does need to display images. The issue is not about editing > them. If you believe that no work should put into displaying of PSD with > transparent background, that is quite different to removing existing > functionality. Yes LO does need to display images but not every format of images (just take a look at https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Image_file_formats). More generally, I think LO tries to deal with too much formats (it's also true for other things like databases) but few, if there are, aren't supported at 100%. I may be wrong but it seems even odf aren't 100% supported. Of course, you may respond that support of 98% for example should be enough and the rest is just very specific use and you might be right but, for odf or png at least, I think it's a pity. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.___ Libreoffice-bugs mailing list Libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org https://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-bugs

[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 142634] New: Animation-Object gets unselected upon change.
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=142634 Bug ID: 142634 Summary: Animation-Object gets unselected upon change. Product: LibreOffice Version: 7.1.3.2 release Hardware: All OS: All Status: UNCONFIRMED Severity: normal Priority: medium Component: Impress Assignee: libreoffice-bugs@lists.freedesktop.org Reporter: f.tha...@posteo.net [Not sure which of the possible summary-keywords is the correct one] In the Animation-Tab of the sidebar, you can animate parts of your slide. Changing the Start-value of the first item in the animation-list in any way (for example from "With previous" to "On click") unselects it after a short freeze. It might also happen with other objects in your animation-list, but I've mainly noticed it with the first elements. This is kind of annoying as it can disrupt your workflow repeatedly. What I did before the bug happened: 1. Add animations (without delays) on other slides 2. Select 10+ arrows on this slide 3. Order them properly using drag&drop 4. Make all of them appear "after previous" 5. Try to change their delay-value. Changing the delay-option of any of the animation-elements doesn't do anything. After switching to a different element and coming back, the delay just resets to zero. (By the way, it doesn't matter whether you type in a delay or click the [+]-button next to the textinput.) What I did before the bug happened: 1. Add animations (without delays) on other slides 2. Select 10+ arrows on this slide 3. Order them properly using drag&drop 4. Make all of them appear "after previous" 5. Try to change their delay-value. 6. It doesn't work. Slide 1 name is not read from OO. Slide 6 is a consequence of being the same as of slide 5, change in bug 103347 (solved by renaming same name to Slide X and not to Existing Slide Name (1)). If saved as PPTX and reopen in LO, Slide 1 name is proper, Slide X remain, but renamed slide is not remembered. In MSO all names are proper (renamed slide still shown as original). So I don't see this fixed. If it is, please explain. As for Importance, I set Low-Normal, because as explained this is LO-only feature.
