you reported the bug with an obsolete LibO version (5.2.1)
you should retest with LibO 5.2.6 or even better with 5.3.2 and tell if issue
is gone or persists.

I can not reproduce the bug in
Version: 5.3.1.2 (x64)
Build ID: e80a0e0fd1875e1696614d24c32df0f95f03deb2
CPU Threads: 4; OS Version: Windows 6.19; UI Render: default; Layout Engine:
new; 
Locale: en-US (en_US); Calc: group

It is a bit slow but it ends and does what is expected.

Thank you for your help.
I've installed latest fresh version of LibreOffice but the bug is still
present.
In the meantime i've made other tests: I've removed all the sheets expect the
first one (where is the button used to start the removing procedure); then I've
created 100 new sheets and started the procedure: at 87th sheets Libreoffice
freezed. 
Now I suppose that the problem is on my pc but without any indication of the
error/problem from Windows of Libreoffice I don't know how to serch for.

Max size is 10mbs. You should be able to attach the file without any problem.

However, could you please try to reproduce it with the latest version of
LibreOffice from https://www.libreoffice.org/download/libreoffice-fresh/ ?
I have set the bug's status to 'NEEDINFO'. Please change it back to
'UNCONFIRMED' if the bug is still present in the latest version.
