[Libreoffice-bugs] [Bug 157719] Copying styles via keyboard shortcut (like MSO)
https://bugs.documentfoundation.org/show_bug.cgi?id=157719 --- Comment #7 from Vladislav Tarakanov --- (In reply to m.a.riosv from comment #6) > [Ctrl+Shift+V] works with Calc, not exist for Writer. > > Help about clone format (Icon): > https://help.libreoffice.org/latest/en-US/text/shared/guide/paintbrush. > html?DbPAR=SHARED#bm_id380260 > > It's possible to customize keys combinations. > Menu/Tools/Customize [Keyboard] > Search for 'Clone' > Select the combination. > Go to the source paragraph. > Use keyboard combination. > Click on destination paragraph. > Paragraph style is applied. > > I don't know if it is enough. It looks like this method still requires using the mouse when typing. The area to which you want to apply formatting must be selected with the mouse. It also looks like this method requires you to select the text with the desired formatting each time before applying it to other text. It seems more convenient to add an option, for example, “Paste formatting only” in the menu that appears when pressed ctrl+shift+v. This will allow users to repeatedly apply the copied style to text without using the mouse. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

The only thing you can try is finding the correct procedure to add Program Files\LibreOffice\program\soffice.bin into the antivirus' exception list (there is a similar procedure for Windows Defender's folder access control, explained in the FAQ [1]). So if the behaviour is changed in Impress, I'd say it needs to be consistent and changed in Writer too. I think something that should be more prioritised is this: Changing the character colour _after_ toggling the list does not change the bullet/number colour in Impress, but it does in Writer. However, the expected result is that you select the style and then write your text with the format of the selected style. There is also a problem with the menu style; it doesn't keep the cursor on the text and loses it. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.

Download the attached XML form document. Write some text in the first and in the second form control. No problem with the second control but the first won't accept the content. Tip-Help says: "This is an invalid binding expression." First field is named as "cbc:ID". Second field is named as "Identifier". All other properties will be the same. Binding will be created automatically, but every time I open the document or input data there will be added another element "cbc:ID" to the list of Instance 1.
