[Libreoffice-qa] Empty Options window for Spelling and Grammar
Good morning @ll, while I was translating the OLH for the spellchecker, I stumbled upon the following: 1. Start Writer 2. Type some text with an spelling error 3. Press F7 4. Click on the Options button There opens only a grey window titled with LibreOfficeDev 4.2 and three buttons (OK, Cancel and Help) in it ... :( On my installed Germanophone version of LO (Version: 4.1.3.2 Build ID: 70feb7d99726f064edab4605a8ab840c50ec57a), this opens a window called Options, where I can create new dictionaries, delete or edit them etc. ... ;) Is this intended? LO: Version: 4.2.0.0.beta1 Build ID: f4ca7b35f580827ad2c69ea6d29f7c9b48ebbac7 (parallel installed with Germanophone lang- as well as helppack, though it does not matter in this case) OS: Debian Testing AMD64 Thanks for testing Thomas. -- NP: Damiaskaron – Intro ___ List Name: Libreoffice-qa mailing list Mail address: Libreoffice-qa@lists.freedesktop.org Change settings: http://lists.freedesktop.org/mailman/listinfo/libreoffice-qa Problems? http://www.libreoffice.org/get-help/mailing-lists/how-to-unsubscribe/ Posting guidelines + more: http://wiki.documentfoundation.org/Netiquette List archive: http://lists.freedesktop.org/archives/libreoffice-qa/

Good morning Thomas Thomas Hackert wrote 4. Click on the Options button There opens only a grey window titled with LibreOfficeDev 4.2 and three buttons (OK, Cancel and Help) in it ... :( Confirmed. Using LO 4.2 Beta1under Windows XP Pro x86 SP3 en_US it is even worse: I only get the title bar of the dialog, there is no dialog box at all. This is obviously a regression and is IMO more serious than Medium gravity... Andras had already changed the status to New (plus some unintelligible message :) ). not for us, but maybe Caolán, whom he added to CC ... ;) IMO this is a bug in the UI not in Linguistic. It is the dialog that is missing , it's not a problem with the translation of any word,a typo or a problem with the linguistic tools... O.K. I had decided to choose Linguistic, as its help text says something á la Choose this component, if you discover any problem with the spellchecker. (as far as I can remember ... ;) ). [Libreoffice-qa] Squashtest
Hi all, As I'm really not happy that Moztrap doesn't handle localization, I'm still searching for a replacement in the future. I've been pointed to Squash, the site is here: http://www.squashtest.org/index.php/en/squash-tm-25664/squash-tm-overview where at least the UI is fully localizable. It handles manual test and even automated tests and run on different versions and projects. License is LGPLv3 after a version is one year old and it's written in Java. I'll approach the company developing it to see how it could handles test localization and will keep you informed. You can run an online demo if you wish and don't hesitate to give me your feedback. Hi, On Tue, Dec 03, 2013 at 05:48:54PM +0100, Thorsten Behrens wrote: Idly wondering - are we fixing the right problem? How often does the case arise, what's the size distribution of those huge files, and is it really necessary to store those eternally? So _if_ this happens once in eternity, the wiki should be fine. If this happens regularly we should look into it more deeply. I honestly rather assume the first to be the case, given that there are 6000 files on the wiki and skimming the biggest files(*) shows some (maybe 10?) testcases uploaded there, but most of the big files are actually other stuff (e.g. talkyoo mp3). Also, there are only about 250 files bigger than the current bugzilla limit (3MB) at all. OTOH Flo noted that we could use more breathing space the with the SQL server ressources. But yeah, looking at the files suggests the big file uploads are very exceptional and rare and should have little impact on wiki operation. So if we are running into ressource trouble there, its not because of or related to the bug attachments, but because of 'general wiki usage'. So unless we want to kill the wiki (I assume not), its just the price we gotta pay, I guess. [Libreoffice-qa] Issue with Fax-Wizard in current Build
Hello, I tried to create a new fax with the wizard. I choose a business fax in classic style from private. Before I did that I added my personal data including email address and private phone number to the tools-options menu. The fax was created but there were only my address in the header and the placeholder on the left side. The fields on the right side were blank (no personal data, e.g. no phone number, email address).
