If you mean JavaFX calling into Scala code I tried and it didn't seem to work. 
JavaFX probably makes assumptions about $ in names.

I was wondering if anyone has had any success connecting JavaFX to
Lift, I found this

JavaFX has been around for 2 years and hasn't gained the kind of traction
that Silverlight has... Personally, I'm writing JavaFX off.

No common code base that I know of.  Perhaps the JavaFX guys are just
borrowing great ideas from one of the best language designers around, Martin
