Take a look at the regression test for part combining. Hopefully that
makes it clear what part combining should look like.

There is something very fishy with this one. The -f ps version is
perfect, as is the -f tex. Only when used through lilypond-book, it is
wrong.
Is this the problem that's in the manual section on Rehearsal marks?

Add boxed-rehearsal-mark to this. It is now worse than in 2.2, the bottom line
is way off. see attachment.

Has anyone tried lilypond-book with LaTeX recently?
We have often had bugs there in the major releases.

Good! The bugs document now looks considerably shorter. Incidentally,
the slur-staccato is also fixed (for good, hopefully).

Yes, you're right, but if 3.0 is better than 2.2, then nobody is
served by delaying the release, so I propose that we proceed,
carefully.

2.3.17 bug status

2004-09-19 Thread Erik Sandberg
Hi,

Finally I have checked through the list of active bugs.

The following bugs have been fixed recently, and have been moved to fixed/:
ambitus-accent.ly
autobeaming-end.ly
chordChanges-alternative.ly
hideNotes-accidental.ly
octaviation-dot.ly
ottava-clef.ly
progerror-round-filled-box.ly
slur-bow.ly
slur-fermata.ly
slur-tenuto.ly
tuplet-overwrite.ly

The following bugs have improved a bit, but are not yet completely fixed:
slur-staccato
slur-tie

The following bug has gotten even worse now:
boxed-rehearsal-marks.ly

I have CC:ed this mail to everyone who has reported any of these bugs. Many
thanks to you all, you have been added to the lilypond THANKS file if you
weren't already there.

And Han-Wen: Beware, for I have a list of 30 unhandled email messages
reporting about possible bugs. So new bug reports may soon pop up (i don't
have more time today for that though). I'll return soon.
