Multiple rootfs's in single server?

2007-09-04 Thread Kaj Wiik
Hi!

We have a mixture of AMD64 and i386 ubuntu workstations and I'd like
to upgrade/install them using FAI. Is it possible to have multiple
rootfs in a single server? If yes, how the selection will be done? I
guess classes are defined after booting from rootfs. I am starting to
learn FAI, so I am sorry if this topic has been covered already (I
tried to read through the guide and search this group).

Thanks,

Kaj

Yes. Have a look at the FAI wiki

Hi,
I finally found time to update the FAI Wiki (and will try not to be too
lazy with this in the furture).

By using this version, we have integrated checks for valid Email
Adresses of everybody editing the wiki. We hope to get rid of the manual
workflow for getting a new wiki user.

Unfortinately, also existing users need to confirm their email adresses.

We need this ti prevent getting flooded with spam - sorry about that.

All contents are migrated to the new wiki, and it looks correct to me -
If you encounter any problems with the new software, or miss content,
please let me know ASAP.
